AFTER-SCHOOL HOMEWORK CLUB

 

Club Description: 

MS Afterschool Homework Club is an opportunity for students to receive extra help with homework after school. The Homework Club assists students in need of English, writing, history, or science homework. The club's instructor is a qualified JH staff teaching staff member, plus NHS (National Honor Society) high school students may help when available. This club is ideal for students who are struggling with certain concepts and/or assignments and may need further explanation and time in order to successfully complete an assignment or grow in skill.

Club Details: The homework club is open to all students in grades 7 and 8. Please fill out the Google Form sign-up sheet by following the directions below to register for the club. The club is limited to 8 students a day. 

  • Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (excluding breaks or mandatory meetings) 
  • Instructor: Mrs. Cristin Novak 
  • Location: Room J105
  • Time: 3:00 to 4:00 PM

    • Scan the QR code with your phone to sign!
    • Fill out the CCS Release Form provided via PDF and turn it into the office

 

Payment Info: billed monthly through FACTS 

  • Term 1: $100 (2 weeks - ends Oct 14))
  • Term 2: $300 (6 weeks - ends Dec 2)
  • Term 3: $250 (5 weeks - ends Jan 17 -not during finals) 

 

HW Club Policies and Expectations: 

  • Students sign in and out daily for accountability and billing purposes
  • When students finish their work they must be picked up by a parent or guardian or sign in to the After School Program immediately without exception
  • Students are expected to abide by school rules and values
